  1. There is no doubt that CPR saves the lives of children and anyone at that. Yes parents or any guardian should know how to do CPR on anyone especially there child, etc. Although CPR can damage ribs and crush them too without the proper skill and learning. Learning CPR , I can say is not hard but it is not easily done either. Like all things there is a procedure and way to do CPR or you could damage the person you are giving it to. It is a quick and swift save in many situations i.e. drowning, suffocating, and/or poisoning. If giving the proper way. CPR is a fast but yet effected way to staying alive. It too has its pros and cons.

  2. CPR also known as(cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and chest compressions. CPR is a combination of rescue breathing, in other words mouth-to-mouth to restore circulation in a person that is not breathing. CPR is used in many different settings, such as drowning, a vehicle accident, and even smoke inhalation. This procedures saves lives each and every day, all over the world. I think it is a great idea for people to know how to perform CPR, because an emergency can always strike at any moment, when some one least expects it. Also it would be great if someone knew how to save a person's life their self, I'm pretty sure!

  3. CPR(cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and also known as mouth-to-mouth saves lives each and every day! CPR is only used when a person is not breathing at all! This procedure is to help circulate oxygenated rich blood into the brain of a victim. There are many different reasons a person made need CPR such as drowning, smoke ihalation, car accident, or even suffication. It is always important to know when its nessesary to do so though! A person only needs CPR if they aren't breathing at all!

  4. How can you help save another's life? Learn CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or mouth-to-mouth) through your local AHA or American Red Cross association. CPR is only to be used when a victim isn't breathing and helps circulate oxygenated rich blood into the brain. The compressions are used to help circulate the blood and oxygen throughout the body and maintain in major organs. Before going to the victim to see if they truely are in need of CPR, make sure the area around you is safe to enter. Do not put yourself in harms way! Once you have checked the scene, check the victim to see what condition they are under. CPR can cause a person to get permanent brain damage and potentially cause death within 8 minutes. If you saw the accident happen immediately call 911 so they can recieve professional care faster. If not, then start CPR for a couple minutes before calling (or get a bystander to call) then continure CPR until professional help arrives. Before starting CPR, look to make sure the victim's airway isn't blocked by an object. It is always important to know how to help save another's ife in case you are ever put into a situation where it is needed.

  5. The abbreviation CPR means cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and it is when a person uses rescue breathing and chest compressions. CPR can be used for many situations, such as, accidents, poisoning, smoke inhalation, and sudden infant death syndrome. CPR is the successful when given as soon as possible, and should only be performed when the person is not breathing or circulating blood. Before performing CPR, you will need to check for “ABC”, or airway, breathing, and circulation. One of the most important thing is to call 911, then someone with a higher level of training can help. To take a CPR class, go to a hospital and American Heart Association and the American Red Cross in the area. The importance of CPR, is that it could save a someone's life.

  6. CPR, also known as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions. CPR can restore oxygen-rich blood to the brain, with out this permanent brain damage or death can occur within eight minutes. CPR should only be performed if the person is not breathing or does not have adequate blood circulation. When helping someone you should always check to make sure it is safe for you to approach the person. Once you know it is safe to approach checking to see if the person is responsive is the next thing to do. Next you should check if the person is breathing. One way to do this is to watch the person's chest for the rise and fall of breaths. Also listen for the sound of air going in and out of mouth or nose. The three parts of CPR are known as the "ABC's". The A stands for Airway, the B stands for Breathing, and C stands for Circulation. CPR is very necessary to know, it could need to be used at anytime.

I have heard that some people want to start using chest compressions only during CPR in order to protect themself from diseases and etc. What are your thoughts about this?

Whenever we exhale we are releasing carbon dioxide. Why does our rescue breathing still help if we are not exhaling much oxygen?

  7. This article is about what CPR is, the three parts of CPR, and taking a CPR course. It says that every parent should know how and when to use CPR. CPR (or cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions. The three parts of CPR are easily remembered as ABC, A for airway, B for breathing and C for circulation. Nearby hospitals and local chapters of the American Red Cross can offer CPR coursess. Remember if you know how to do CPR it can help save someones life.

    Kay-leigh:

This article explains that people panic when it comes to someone being unconscious and they are start to do CPR wrong. If people do breathing wrong then it reduces the amount of blood flow to the organs and then the person wont be able to get enough oxygen. So they consider people to do chest compressions instead.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Cierra: I agree that you have to be able to learn the right way of doing CPR so you dont harm the person. If done the wrong way, you can damage organs and maybe not even save the persons life.

  10. CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is a way for someone to use on a person if he or she does not have oxygen circulating towards the blood. Anybody can be able to administer CPR if he or she certified to do so. To be certified you can go to your local Red Cross building to take classes on CPR. I think everybody should learn CPR when they are at a young age because you never know if someone will have an accident, with you nearby, and they can not breathe properly. It can happen to anyone in any type of situation that is why it is important for people to learn CPR.

Merica I agree with you people should know when to use CPR because you do not want to accidentally go to a person who has a faint pulse and your giving CPR, when they do not need it. They could wake up and hit you then sue you.

Cierra I agree with you. You need to know what the right way of doing CPR is. You do not want to bruise their organs or crack some ribs.

  11. CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) uses rescue breathing and chest compression to bring a person back to health. It can be done by a certified first aid person or a health care provider. CPR helps restore the oxygenated blood needed in the brain. Brain damage or death can occur in only 8 minutes. CPR can be used in many different emergencies. But you first have to determine if it is necessary. Always check your ABC's. A: airway. B: breathing. C: circulation. Learning CRP, I think it is a really good thing to know. I think more people should know it. Yeah it is a lot of work but it could save a life.

  12. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, other wise known as CPR. You use this when there is a victim that has little to no breathing. you must give rescue breaths as well as compressions on their chest. CPR helps circulate oxygenated blood to the brain, without that the brain will be damaged and you could die in less than 8 minutes! This can give the victim a chance to live as well as a better recovery. Learning CPR is very important, and i think that everyone should know how to do it properly. Accidents occur all the time, and you could be the only bystander that could help. So it would be your choice to act or not. it is very worth it and very rewarding to know how to do CPR.

Aubrey - I think that more people should learn it too! when it comes to a person's life, there is no joking around! you should be prepared because you never know when you could be in that situation. I mean, wouldn't you want someone to do the same for you?

Cierra - i agree! if you don't do it the right way, you could do more harm than good. Thats why people should learn the right way to do CPR. there would be no point in helping a victim if you're just going to harm them even more?

  13. This week's article was about Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the importance of learning this life saving skill. The ABCs of CPR are airway, breathing and circulation. It is important to know what you are doing when admistering CPR, which is why the article recommended taking a course. CPR should only be performed when nessacary. For example if there is little to no breath, weak or no pulse, after almost drowning, sufficating, or if SIDS or sudden infant death syndrome occurs. I think everyone should learn CPR because you never know when an emergency will occur.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Kay-leigh: I think that only doing one part of the procedure is not helping much. The person might as well do nothing at all. There is no reason to have a pulse if the brain is dead.

Bri:): I didn't think about how nervousness can make a person mess up on CPR, I just assumed they were being careless but what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I know I would be nervous if someone's life was in my hands.

  15. CPR is a neccessary thing for parents to learn if they ever have to perform it on their child. CPR may be necessary during many different emergencies, including accidents, near-drowning, and suffocation. Learning the details of CPR is strongly recommended by taking a course. In CPR you should learn the ABC's which means airway, breathing, and circulation. The ABC's will help you accomplish your task in CPR when saving a life. Many people are taking CPR classes at their local hospital and the American Red Cross.

Kay-leigh: I think using ches compressions is a good idea. I would want myself and the victim protected from any sort of disease.

Aubrey and Paige: I agree that everyone should take a CPR class. You never know when an emergency could happen so you would want anyone that knows CPR to help. I agree that it is a lot of work, even just practicing on the dumbies in class. It is worth it though to have the reward of helping and saving a life!

  16. CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is administered when a person isn't breathing or circulating blood. You should perform it as quickly as possible. It saves lives by restoring breathing and circulation to the victim's body. Permanent brain damage and even death can happen if the body goes without oxygen for a little less than eight minutes. CPR can be used during many different emergencies like suffocation or poisoning. There are three basic parts of CPR that you need to know. They are airway, breathing, and circulation (ABC). You must make sure that the victim's airway is open. You must administer rescue breathing if the victim isn't breathing. And chest compressions can sometimes be used to restore circulation.

Shyla- I also think that everyone should learn CPR at a young age. Many people panic because they don't know what to do in an emergency. If they have CPR training, they will stay calm and know exactly what to do. I think all schools should offer CPR as a class.

Bri- Do you think that many people panic when their victim is unconscious? I think that if I had to act in a situation, I wouldn't panic. My instincts would take over and my focus would be on saving the life. It wouldn't really be on worrying about messing up.

  17. CPR (or cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is administered to restore circulation of oxygen-rich blood to the brain. Without oxygen, permanent brain damage or death could occur within 8 minutes. It could save a life if done correctly and should only be performed when a person isn't breathing or circulating blood. To remember the three basic parts of CPR, think of "ABC". "A" for airway, "B" for breathing, and "C" for circulation. It is strongly recommended that you learn how to perform CPR by taking a course. I believe that everyone should learn at least the basics of CPR just in case they are in a situation that requires this life-saving technique.

Kay-leigh- Although we do breathe out carbon dioxide, it would allow the victim's lungs to expand so they could begin breathing for themselves again. CPR is to open airways for the victim, not to breathe for them.
Paige- I think most people would find that learning CPR is rewarding, especially the person who was saved by this process. If done successfully, imagine how the person who performed CPR would feel.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Kay-leigh: I beieve that we should use whatever would be more sucessful. They have breathing barriers, such as, resuscitation masks and other items that you can buy, if the person is afraid of dieases.

Aubrey: I agree that everyone should learn CPR and first aid, even knowing just the basics, could save a life. I think it should be a requirement in high school, to learn the basic first aid.

  19. How long can a person give CPR before they eventually pass out themselves?

    ReplyDelete
  20. CPR is one of the skills i feel that not only every parent, but every citizen should know how to perform. In case of emergency CPR may be critical in saving he life of another. CPR has three basic part. Airway- a blocked airway will prevent a breath from reaching the victims lungs, Breathing- A person andministering CPR needs to give 2 full breaths lasting around a second each, Circulation- if a victim has no pulse chest compressions will cause the heart to pump blood throughout the body. CPR classes only take around three hours to complete. everyone can make time for this class every two years.

Andee- it probably depends on the physique and endurance of the person administering it.

Bri- but if they do chest compressions instead couldn't they fracture the xyphoid process and puncture a lung? just food for thought

  21. CPR, also known as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation,
combines rescue breathing and chest compressions.
An unconscious victim needs CPR to regain circulation and oxygenated blood back to the brain. After eight minutes without breathing, a victim can have brain damage or die. CPR is most effective when it is administered immediately, if needed. To determine if a victim needs CPR, check the victim's airways, breathing, and circulation. Also, if CPR is being performed, 9-1-1 or the local emergency number should
be called. In addition, the best way to effectively know and perform CPR is to take courses and become certified.

Kay-Leigh: I think people should be precautious
when administering CPR to others without knowing
their medical history, but at the same time you're trying to save someone's life, and chest compressions may not work; rescue breathing may be needed. Also, if you don't give the rescue breaths, and that person dies, you may never know if your breaths could have saved that person's life; although, as humans, we tend to think about ourselves before others, even in times of crisis. I think it all depends on the kind of person you are.

Vivian: I think many people panic when their
victim is unconscious, especially if they have
not had many experience with CPR. The situation
can be very stressful if it is the first time
dealing with this type of crisis, and may take
time before figuring out exactly what to do.
You seem like a very determined person, though,
so I don't doubt you focusing on a patient instead of yourself, as well as many others with determined personalities. Some people are just different than others.

  22. Every parent should know how and when to administer CPR. CPR can save a child's life if it is performed correctly. CPR is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions. It is most successful when it is administered as soon as possible if it is necessary. It should only be used if the person isn't circulating blood properly or they aren't breathing. When CPR is needed, EMS need to be called to provide more advanced care.

Kayleigh: I don't think using only chest compressions would be effective. That would help with blood circulation, but they need rescue breaths to try to get the person breathing on their own. If you don't provide rescue breaths, no oxygen will get into the lungs, therefore not allowing them to breath.

Aubrey: I agree that more people should know how to administer CPR the right way. It is a good thing to know and it would save lives. Anyone could be faced with a situation in which CPR is needed. It may take a lot of work to learn how to do it, but wouldn't saving someone's life be worth it?

  23. Grace - That is why I think everyone should know CPR. I know it is a lot of work. But it really pays off whenever you end up having to use it!

Teya - That would be awesome if it was taught in school. The only thing is that some people would take it as a joke. But that would be a really cool requirement!

  24. Andee: I totally agree with you, when we were practicing giving CPR I was getting so light headed. I couldn't imagine giving CPR for more then two minutes.

CPR is for many situations like accidents, poisoning, smoke inhalation, and sudden infant death syndrome. CPR is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions. CPR restores oxygen-rich blood to the brain, with out performing CPR serious damage could occur to the brain or death can occur within eight minutes. Before you approach a situation that might need CPR care you should always check to see if its safe for you. Once you know it is safe, check to see if the person is responsive. Next you should check if the person is breathing by watching the chest to see if it rises or falls or for sounds coming out of the nose or mouth. To be CPR certified you can go to your local Red Cross building to take classes, it is fairly easy and I believe everyone should do it eventually.

This procedure should only be done if someone is not pumping blood through the body or if the person is not breathing. Before giving CPR make sure that you or a bystander has called 911. Instead of bystanders being a boundary, let them be a tool to help you.

Shyla: I also believe that young people should learn how to do CPR especially for the teens that babysit. I think that almost anyone at any age can learn the basics because what happens when your the only person there to give care?

Paige: Sometimes it makes me scared thinking about that I could be the only one at the scene to give CPR. I keep on asking myself, Will I know what to do?

He prayed for me and asked me to lead. I spent 2 weeks and 2 days in Africa at Dr Itua Herbal Home. After the treatment, he asked me to meet his nurse for the HIV test when I did it. It was negative, I asked my friend to take me to another nearby hospital when I arrived, it was negative. I was overwhite with the result, but happy inside of me. We went with Dr. Itua, I thank him but I explain that I do not have enough to show him my appreciation, that he understands my situation, but I promise that he will testify about his good work. Thank God for my dear friend, Emma, I know I could be reading this now, I want to thank you. And many thanks to Dr. Itua Herbal Center. He gave me his calendar that I put on my wall in my house. 30. Irrespective of receiving daily oral or future injectable depot therapies, these require health care visits for medication and monitoring of safety and response. If patients are treated early enough, before a lot of immune system damage has occurred, life expectancy is close to normal, as long as they remain on successful treatment. However, when patients stop therapy, the virus rebounds to high levels in most patients, sometimes associated with severe illness because I have gone through this and even an increased risk of death. The aim of “cure”is ongoing but I still do believe my government made millions of ARV drugs instead of finding a cure. for ongoing therapy and monitoring. ARV alone cannot cure HIV as among the cells that are infected are very long-living CD4 memory cells and possibly other cells that act as long-term reservoirs. HIV can hide in these cells without being detected by the body’s immune system. Therefore even when ART completely blocks subsequent rounds of infection of cells, reservoirs that have been infected before therapy initiation persist and from these reservoirs HIV rebounds if therapy is stopped. “Cure” could either mean an eradication cure, which means to completely rid the body of reservoir virus or a functional HIV cure, where HIV may remain in reservoir cells but rebound to high levels is prevented after therapy interruption.Dr Itua Herbal Medicine makes me believes there is a hope for people suffering from,Parkinson's disease,Schizophrenia,Lung Cancer,Breast Cancer,Lupus,Lyme Disease,psoriasis,Colo-Rectal Cancer,Blood Cancer,Prostate Cancer, siva,Epilepsy Dupuytren's disease,Desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor Diabetes ,Coeliac disease,Brain Tumor,Fibromyalgia,Alzheimer's disease,Adrenocortical carcinoma Infectious mononucleosis. .Asthma,Allergic diseases.Hiv_ Aids,Herpe ,Copd,Glaucoma., Cataracts,Macular degeneration,Cardiovascular disease,Chronic Myelo ,Lung disease,Enlarged prostate,Osteoporosis,Dementia.(measles, tetanus, whooping cough, tuberculosis, polio and diphtheria),Chronic Diarrhea,Hpv,All Cancer Types,Diabetes,Hepatitis, I read about him online how he cure Tasha and Tara so i contacted him on drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com / . even talked on whatsapps +2348149277967 believe me it was easy i drank his herbal medicine for two weeks and i was cured just like that isn't Dr Itua a wonder man?
